Healthy And Sweet Valentine's Day Treats

Valentine's Day is a special day where loved ones show each other how much they care. Year after year lovers exchange the traditional cardboard hearts filled with chocolates. While Valentine's Day is a unique day that comes only once a year, after a while it can get a little monotonous. As Ashton Kutcher said in the movie Valentine's Day, "Love is the only shocking act left on the planet". So, this year why not ditch the candy hearts and get some healthy surprises for your loved ones? Just because it's healthy, doesn't mean it can't be delicious!

This year when you're walking down the candy aisle, skip the traditional milk chocolates. Grab a box of dark chocolates instead! Dark chocolate has been found to be healthier and is also good for your heart! Another good idea is to send your secret admirer a basket of delicious fruits instead of a box of chocolates.
